There you are on the jobsite, reading your hologram schematics and working with your laser gun while your x-ray goggles scan the surroundings. 

Seems like science fiction, right?

The construction industry has long been at the forefront of innovation, and there are some pretty cool technological advancements being introduced right now. It makes sense our industry leads the way: we’re constantly seeking for better, faster, and safer ways to deliver the best results possible. 

One of the exciting advancements we’ve seen recently is the development of exoskeleton technology. Basically, they are sleek, lightweight harnesses you wear around your torso and arms that allow you to lift and move heavy materials much easier. It limits the stress on your body so you can do more for longer, and less stress on the body means fewer workplace injuries and a safer workplace overall.

We’re all for any technology that makes for a safer workplace and for a more productive workplace, and while you might not see these very cool exoskeletons on our job sites any time soon, we’ve definitely started saving up our allowances for one!
