Included in part of the Norquay Building Plaza exterior upgrade was the retrofit of the existing entrance canopy. Detailed specifications were drafted that included new light fixtures, pre-finished soffits, and the encapsulation of the existing structure with stainless steel. Careful planning, measurements and installation techniques were coordinated and utilized by our trades resulting in a weather tight, seamless and aesthetically pleasing installation.
Challenge
Main entrance to the building was to remain open at all times.
Solution
Hoarding was installed to protect the public from our construction site. Nightwork and weekend work was scheduled to complete specific tasks within the public corridor.
